Founder
Good Sport Nation is the creation of New York City student-athlete Ben Sibulkin, GSN’s Director. Ben has been playing sports his entire life. His primary focus is baseball at which he pitches for his travel team and varsity high school team.
In 2010, after having volunteered with an integrated program geared towards special needs athletes, Ben saw that not everyone that the opportunity to enjoy a full set of sports activities. After a few years for fundraising and volunteering for that program, and being unable to find a similar program in NYC that paired general education and special needs athletes in a full game experience, he decided to create one.
That was the beginning of Good Sport Nation, whose motto is “Everyone Plays.”
Good Sport Nation is now approaching 100 players across 20+ schools—and has several partners. It is now the only fully-integrated-game sports program in NYC, with with current efforts underway to expand.
